Life godwit flyway

Between October 6th and 10th, we hosted the LIFE Godwit Flyway project exhibition at the library of Escola Padre José Rota, with the participation of all classes from 1st to 9th grade. This initiative highlighted the importance of migratory birds and the conservation of biodiversity.

The visit from the biologist was one of the most memorable moments, with interactive sessions for 8th grade students, where they explored fascinating facts about the black-tailed godwit and discussed current environmental challenges.

By the end of the activity, we were able to contribute 453 godwits, reflecting the commitment and enthusiasm of the entire school community. A true celebration of science, citizenship, and commitment to our planet!
