On November 17th, the 1st Blue Schools Meeting of the City Council of Vila Franca de Xira took place for the first time, as part of the celebrations of the National Sea Day.
The auditorium of Escola Básica/Secundária D. Martinho Vaz de Castelo Branco welcomed students and teachers from the three school clusters that are part of the Blue School Programme:

This meeting marked an important moment of sharing, learning, and commitment to ocean literacy and to the protection of the Tagus estuary.
