On 28 th January 2026 in Elementary School number 17 John Paul II in Chorzow, Poland, a special
debate took place at our school as part of the Erasmus+ project “Climate Action – Save the
Future”!
The event brought together staff from the Ecology Department of the Chorzów City Office, parents,
and students, who jointly reflected on how to take real action to protect the climate.
Students presented excellent, creative, and very practical eco-friendly ideas. The event included
presentations, discussions, and inspiring conversations about how to reduce our carbon footprint
and take care of the environment in our everyday lives.
We are proud that, as a school community, we are working together, learning from one another, and
showing that even small steps can lead to great change.
Together, we are creating a future that is more friendly to our planet!
